Mashed Turnips Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs. purple turnips
  • 2 tbs Butter
  • 2 tbs Sour Cream
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

 

Cooking Instructions:

  • Remove the roots and stems
  • Peel and cube turnips
  • Place turnips  in pot, cover partially with water and bring to a boil
  • Cover and cook until tender
  • Drain & Mash
  • Add butter,sour cream, salt, pepper and mix well
  • Serve Hot and Enjoy!
